    JUNIOR EAR MUFF 3124DescriptionThe Dromex® Junior Muff headband style ear muff, is a re-usable, light weight, noise reduction system that provides optimum protection against noise in the ear canal.Junior muff features self-adjustable, rotational ear cups, consisting of soft foam and leather skin, providing comfort for those requiring hearing protection for extended periods.Used as a headband or around the neck. Suitable for use in applications such as machining, grinding, steel cutting and woodwork for light industrial duty and outdoor construction. Special Instructions• Do not share ear muffs as ears can be exposed to ear infections.• The ear muff should be worn properly at all times in noisy surroundings. • The ear muffs should be fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with instructions provided on this packaging. If the recommendations are not adhered to, the protection afforded by the ear muffs will be severely impaired.• The ear muff may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances; avoid the use of agents (i.e. solvents and other disinfectants) that areknown to be harmful to the wearer and/or the ear muff. • Regularly inspect for tears or cracks and replace if service ability is suspected to be affected. • Sounds above 85dB are harmful to the ears.• Spectacle frames and hair between the ear pad and head may affect the performance of the ear protector. Compliance & ConformityManufactured to EN 352-1:2002 and EN 352-3 :2002 as per the require-ments of Eu Type examination certificate Directive 89/686/EEC by BSI, CE certificate 676978.SpecificationsStyle:Banded ear muff with adjustable and rotating ear cups.Material ear cup: ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) with a foam cushion and soft leather skin covering.Material headband: 10% GFPP (Glass-filled polypropylene)Material coupling: PVC ( Polyvinyl chloride).Noise attenuation data: SNR 25 dBH 28 dBM 23 dBL 15 dB.Packaging, Storage & Obsolescence• Packed in pairs in an easy-open polybag. 200 Units inside a box with dispensing tray and 10 boxes in a carton.• User’s instructions included in the dispenser carton.• Clean and dry ear muffs when not used for a long period of time.• When not in use or during transportation, the ear muff should be stored in a container such that it out of direct sunlight, away from chemicals and abrasive substances and cannot be damaged by physical contact with hard surface and items.Cleaning & MaintenanceAfter each use wash and rinse with warm soapy water.Solvent or abrasive cleaner should not be used.Cushions may deteriorate with use and should be examined at frequent intervals for cracking and tears.Discard immediately when headband is broken, cups are damaged and cushions are missing, as the ear muff can no longer provide full hearing protection.MaterialsNone of the materials used in the manufacture of these products are known to adversely affect the hygiene or health.JM-B Shelf lifeUnder normal circumstances the ear muff should offer adequate protection for 2 -3 years. Discard if noticeable damages is prevalent. DisposalAll industrial waste should be disposed of correctly as per local regulations and good disposal practice.
